Our Staff
Bio
Head Coach Adam Thomas for Central Connecticut State University ACHA Mens Division 2 Hockey, is an up and coming youth hockey development coach. Adam was hired in 2021 as the CCSU Men's assistant coach and was successful in the development of the program under Coach Tornaquindici, that he was selected as the New Head Coach for the 2022-23 season. Coach Thomas begin his Coaching career joining the Connecticut Chiefs in 2015 with the 2007 Birth year team and has since made a major impact in the organization. Since 2017, Coach Adam has assisted the Chiefs Staff in organizing weekly skills session, a very well developed off-ice/summer training program, and has been an active recruiting ambassador for the organization. Coach Adam's attention to detail and corrective approach has made him an asset to our younger players development plan. Coach Adam is a Level 4 USA hockey instructor, who has logs hours of skills and skating sessions, and is a common voice on the ice during our development practices.
Coach Adam, founder of S4 Hockey, is a top communicator with players and families both in and out of the organization and has helped the Chiefs program expand at the youth levels since coming on board in 2015. Coach Adam lives in Vernon with his Fiance Stef, 2 current chiefs players, Nathaniel - 2007 NEDC Selected Player and Tyler a up and coming 2011, Savannah a 2013 Player for Capital Wolves Hockey, Mackenna a superstar soccer defenseman, and Olivia a bright and shining star of the family.
